What is coaching and consulting?

Coaching

Church Coaching is an incredible opportunity for a church. A healthy partnership can enhance its mission, vision and values. A coach guides, teaches, encourages and assists a team to accomplish a task. A leader and a church, like a team, can benefit from an outside coach as well. A coach can give guidance, training, encouragement and assistance in accomplishing a desired task.

Church Coaching is especially critical during the time between ministerial leaders. We recognize that leadership is the key to health and growth of any organization. Getting the right leader in a timely fashion is essential. The benefits of getting a right leader include ongoing growth of the church and active participation of the people. Consulting

Consulting is way of providing advice and guidance to churches in order to help them solve a particular problem or range of problems (strategic planning, conflict resolution, church growth and administration issues). Consulting services are provided by MinistryConnect leaders who have gained their expertise from a wide variety of training and experiences. Why are coaching and consulting needed?

Since leadership is the key to the health and growth of any organization, getting the right leader in a timely fashion is critical.  The average time between pastors is generally about 18 months.  The longer a church takes to find the right leader the more the church suffers in terms of lack of growth and participation.  Giving generally decreases and attendance levels off or declines.
