Search Guides

MinistryConnect has designed the Search Guides for churches on the calling process journey. We work with churches who are seeking pastors and/or other staff persons.

The Guides have been under the direction of Dr. Verlyn Bergen and Dr. Roger Hatfield , co-founders and senior partners. With a combined experience of over 70 years in ministry to hundreds of churches, this team will be able to provide any search committee with the help it needs to be exceptionally successful.

In the Guides are all the materials a church will need for the calling of the next minister with the exception of a very important piece called TheSHAPE. The Guides include instructions on how to use, understand and order this important tool in the calling process.

Even though these are copyrighted materials, a local church may make copies of the Search Guides for members of its search committee. This does not extend to copying this material for any other church . It is illegal, against the copyright privileges and dishonoring to the authors who have dedicated hours of work and financial resources into this for one individual or church to provide this to other churches.

Additional products and services are available through MinistryConnect that help churches through this process. The Appendix to the guide will indicate those available products and how to access them.
